As the mother lake of Yue State, the source of Shaoxing Rice Wine, and the node of Tang poetry, Jianhu Lake carries the wisdom, emotions, stories, and lifestyle of the people of the Yue region. The rich history needs to be activated in a way of a new era, so with Jianhu Tourist Resort as the base, “Beyond” as the strategy, and the ecological space and cultural space to empower the industrial space, One-tenth has created a new-era Keqiao model. Through the implementation of land and transportation conditions, One-tenth planned the ten “Beyond Scenarios” for the “New Scenery of Jianhu Lake”, proving the basis for the subsequent international design competition. In addition to the international competition, One-tenth will also launch a series of events such as public interviews, citizen interaction, and city forums, and empower Jianhu Lake to build a distinctive city brand from soft to hard, from professional to public, and from top-level design to continuous operation.
